Privacy policy

Last updated 3 October 2026

Davos Access (previously HomeDavos) is an independent guide and service for World Economic Forum week in Davos. This page explains what we collect, why, and how to have it removed. Privacy comes first in our work: we never name clients, and we never sell or pass on your details.

Who is responsible

Davos Access is responsible for the personal data described here. Write to hello@davosaccess.com about anything on this page.

What we collect

  • What you send us in a form: your name, email, phone or WhatsApp number, organisation, LinkedIn profile where a form asks for it, your dates, group size, budget and whatever you write in your message.
  • Email sign-ups: your email address, where you signed up and, if you answer it, what you are planning.
  • How you found us: your answer to "How did you find us?" if you give one, and, when you send a form or sign up, the website that sent you to us, the first page you saw and any campaign tags in the link. This is kept in your own browser and reaches us only with something you choose to send.
  • The private accommodation list: when someone opens it with an access code, we record the code and the time.

We use no advertising trackers and no analytics scripts. Our website host keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses, for security and reliability.

What stays in your browser

Your shortlist of properties, your saved lists of events and speakers, the access code you used and how you first found us are kept in your browser's own storage. They do not reach us unless you send them with a form. Clearing your browser data removes them.

Why we use it

  • To answer you and arrange what you asked for: a stay, a meeting room, an event, an introduction.
  • To send programme alerts and updates you signed up for, and nothing else.
  • To understand which channels bring people to us, so we know what works.

Who sees it

The Davos Access team, and the providers we use to run the site: our website host, our database provider (Supabase) and our email delivery service (Resend). They process it for us and for no other purpose.

When we arrange something with an owner, host or partner on your behalf, we share only what that arrangement needs, and only once you have asked us to go ahead. Introductions happen only when both sides agree. We never sell your details or give them to event organisers or anyone else.

How long we keep it

For as long as we need it to deal with your request and keep a record of our work together, and no longer. Email sign-ups stay until you unsubscribe: reply "stop" to any email and we remove you.

Your rights

You can ask to see what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop us using it. Write to hello@davosaccess.com and we will reply within 30 days. You can also complain to your data protection authority; in Switzerland that is the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).

Our AI connector

Davos Access can be added to AI assistants such as Claude and ChatGPT as a connector at https://davosaccess.com/mcp. It is read-only: it answers from our public guides, the side event directory and the speaker pages, and it never asks for or stores your name, email or other personal details. Your conversation stays with your AI provider under its own privacy policy; our server receives only the request for a public answer, such as a date or a list of events. See how to add the connector.

Changes

When we change how we handle personal data, we update this page and the date at the top.
