Davos Match runs one fixed scoring formula, in the database, against events Davos Access has reviewed under Read the Room. Topic overlap counts for the most, with your primary topic weighted heaviest. What you said you're here for adds a bonus when an event's actual format and room size suit it: a roundtable dinner for deals, a stage session for visibility. Years the event has run is a small tiebreaker, never enough to outrank a real match.
Access is the one hard rule: whatever you can actually get into is the ceiling on what gets shown, full stop. Nothing here is generated, guessed or ranked by a model. Every reason line is built directly from that event's own recorded format, capacity and access requirement.

How does Davos Match work?
You pick one thing: deals, learning, visibility or introductions. Davos Match scores every event Davos Access has reviewed against it, weighing format and room size against what that goal usually needs, plus any topics or days you add. It's a fixed formula, not a recommendation engine that learns from you.
Does Davos Match use AI?
No. There's no model, no embeddings and no third-party API involved. Every match comes from a deterministic SQL scoring function running against Davos Access's own manually reviewed events. The same is true of the Read the Room programme this tool draws its scores from.
Is Davos Match free, and does it need an account?
Yes to both. It's free, with no sign-up, no email and no login. Results appear on screen the moment you make a choice. Sending Davos Access the fuller plan for a human review is optional and separate.
What can I filter by?
The one required choice is what you're here for. Underneath that, an optional Refine row lets you narrow by which days you're in Davos, the access you actually have (open door, register or apply, or invitations), and up to three topics.
Why does access matter so much here?
Access is a hard filter, not a preference. Davos Match never surfaces an event you told it you can't get into. Selecting 'open door only' means every result is walk-in; selecting 'I have invitations' widens the pool, but never past what you said you can access.
Which events does Davos Match search?
Only events Davos Access has manually reviewed under Read the Room: format, room size and how you actually get in, confirmed rather than guessed. That set grows continuously; an event that hasn't been reviewed yet won't appear until it has.
