Planning a Davos week

We know which rooms exist, who is in them, and how each one lets people in. Tell us what you are there for and we build the week around it.

Davos week is a few hundred gatherings running at once across one valley, most of them nowhere near the Congress Centre and most of them admitting people in a different way. Working that out from the outside takes weeks. We have it written down.

Start with what is on the site

Three things on this site answer most of it on your own. Plan Your Davos builds a week from the programme. Davos Match takes what you are there for and returns the rooms that fit. The side event directory is the whole parallel programme with an access rule on every entry.

They show what is on and where. Getting you into a particular room takes a person, and that is what the three levels below are for.

Three levels

Each one contains the one before it. Most people start at the first and move up once they know what they actually need.

One

Know the week

Going for the first time, or sending somebody who is.

A built week: which rooms, which day, how you get into each, and what the walk between them costs in January. It comes out of the directory, the access rules and the geography, measured rather than guessed.

  • A day-by-day week, built around what you are there for
  • How each event admits people, and what that means for you
  • Walking times and gradients between your fixed points
  • What to drop, which is usually the most useful part

Two

Get into the rooms

You know the events you want. Getting in is the problem.

Everything above, and then we work the routes: registrations, applications, and the invitation paths where one exists. We tell you which are genuinely closed rather than letting you keep trying.

  • Registrations and applications handled, with the deadlines watched
  • An honest read on the invitation-only rooms, case by case
  • Who hosts each one and what they tend to look for
  • Somewhere to stay that suits the schedule, if you still need it

Three

Be in the programme

Not open yet

You want to speak, host, or put your name on a room.

Matching people to events that still have open slots, with the host's real model attached — some invite editorially, some want an audience or a guest list in exchange, some sell the seat. We ask every organiser that question directly, because nobody publishes the answer.

  • Events in your field with slots still open
  • How that host takes speakers, and what it costs if anything
  • What they expect you to bring

We are not selling this one yet. It runs on organisers telling us their 2027 slots and speaker terms, and they are only starting to. Tell us what you would want and we will come to you when there is something real to offer, rather than take the work now and hope.

What we will not tell you

Davos week attracts a lot of people promising doors. These are the limits, said before you ask rather than after you have paid.

  • We cannot get you accredited. The White Badge is the Forum's to give and nobody sells one.
  • We do not promise a specific invitation-only room. We tell you who hosts it and what they look for, and the host decides.
  • We do not publish who stayed where, who asked for what, or who we sent to whom.
  • Where something cannot be confirmed we say so. An unchecked room is marked unchecked.

It compounds across years

A week you have to rebuild from nothing every January is worth less than one that starts where the last left off. We keep the programme year on year — the 2026 directory is the reference point 2027 is being built against — so the second year we work with somebody starts from who they already met and which rooms were worth the evening.

Tell us what you are there for

Who is going, what they need out of the week, and the dates. Send it even if it is half formed. Most of this work is helping somebody decide what they are actually looking for, and a person reads every one of these.

A person reads every message, and someone is always reachable.

Running an event of your own? Submit it to the directory — free, and read by a person. Still need somewhere to stay? Where to stay is the town by street.

This is one part of the week. Everything for Davos 2027 — dates, planning, where to stay, how access works and who is speaking.
