Davos accommodation for corporate teams
Five colleagues going to Davos is a different problem from five beds. They are colleagues rather than couples, they arrive together, they have a schedule, and they have to be able to function from wherever you put them.

If colleagues need separate bedrooms
A property advertised as sleeping five is often four bedrooms and a sofa bed, or three bedrooms with two double beds and an assumption about who is sharing. For a family that is fine. For five colleagues it is the thing that turns a good arrangement into a bad week.
So the first number we check is bedrooms, not capacity, and the second is bathrooms. Both are asked of the owner or manager directly, because the listing figure and the real figure are frequently different.
The arrangements that actually exist
Six shapes cover almost every team stay in Davos. Each one costs you something, and which cost you can absorb depends on the week your people are having.
Separate hotel rooms
Nobody negotiates over bedrooms, and housekeeping is somebody else's problem.
Rooms rarely sit together, so the team is split across floors or buildings.
One apartment with enough bedrooms
The team is in one place, which makes mornings and late changes far easier.
Properties with five or more genuine bedrooms are the scarcest thing in town.
A chalet with separate bedrooms
A base the team can work from, and somewhere to bring people back to.
Priced for the week rather than the night, and the good ones go early.
Two apartments close together
Far easier to find than one large property, and rooms can be allocated sensibly.
Two sets of keys, two check-ins, and a walk between them in the dark.
A principal property plus staff rooms nearby
Senior people get quiet, everyone else gets a bed at a sane price.
Only works if the walk between the two is short and flat.
Davos base with a Klosters alternative
Opens up larger, more private houses when Davos has nothing left.
Daily movement has to be planned, and the drive is not a fixed number in January.
Where to base them
Base the team against their schedule rather than the map. A team with early sessions at the Congress Centre and late dinners along the Promenade wants to be between the two, even if a better property sits fifteen minutes out.
Davos Platz puts people closest to the Congress Centre. The Promenade puts them in the middle of the Houses and the evening. Davos Dorf is quieter and further, with the rail link. Outer Davos and Klosters buy privacy and floor space, and spend it on daily movement.
The geography of the town is written out street by street with measured walking times, including which ones climb and where the security perimeter falls by house number. Whether Klosters works for your group comes down to the journey in, and has its own page.
What we confirm before sending you anything
- Five people means five proper bedrooms, and a sofa bed is not one of them
- How many bathrooms, and whether any of them are shared through a bedroom
- Twin beds where colleagues are sharing a room and would rather not share a bed
- Somewhere to sit and work that is not a bedroom
- Whether the walk to their first meeting climbs, and what it is like on ice
- Whether the walk back from a Promenade dinner is one somebody will do at midnight
- Whether a car can reach the door when the schedule slips
- Whether the property allows guests, dinners or a meeting at all
- Who answers the phone during the week if something goes wrong
- What the price includes, and what appears on a separate invoice
Anything we cannot confirm is marked unconfirmed. If nobody has counted the beds, we tell you nobody has counted the beds.
On what it costs
Forum week is not a winter rate multiplied by five nights, and any figure quoted before anyone has seen your dates and group is a guess. We would rather price the actual arrangement than publish a range that turns out to be wrong for you.
What we will do is separate it properly: the property, then anything billed on top of it, so you can see where the money is going before you commit to any of it.
Send the team brief
