Meet in Davos
Most Davos meetings are planned months ahead or left to chance. Tell us who you would like to meet and what you would like to talk about. We ask them, and when both of you say yes, you meet: in Davos, after the week, or online.
How it works
1
You ask
Who you would like to meet, what you would like to talk about, and when you are in Davos.
2
We ask them
A person reads your request and, if it fits, asks the other side, showing your name, organisation and subject.
3
Both say yes
You both get the introduction, with the days and the ways you each chose, so finding a time is easy. In person in Davos is best; after the week or online works too.
For conversations worth having
Davos brings together people from every country and sector for one week, and most of them never cross paths. Meet in Davos is for the conversation you came for: an idea, a country, a subject, a project.
- Compare notes with someone working on the same problem in another country.
- Learn how a country approaches a subject, from someone who works on it.
- Carry on a conversation with a speaker after their session.
- Meet the people behind a House or a side event you care about.
- Find someone to start a project with, or to test an idea on.
Our promises
- Both sides agree, every time
- Nobody is introduced to anybody without saying yes first.
- Nothing public
- No profiles, no lists of who is in Davos. Your request goes only to the person you asked to meet.
- Contact details after a yes
- Until then we share your name, organisation and subject only.
- Professional, and kept that way
- Ideas, work, countries and subjects. We turn down sales blasts and anything else that does not fit.
Meet in Davos is new. A person reads every request, we answer as soon as we can, and we tell you honestly when we cannot find a match.
Request a meeting
Two minutes. The more you tell us about the conversation you have in mind, the easier it is for the other side to say yes.
Questions people ask
- What is Meet in Davos?
- A way to ask to meet someone during Davos week. You tell us who you would like to meet and what you would like to talk about. A person at Davos Access reads the request, asks the other side, and introduces you when both of you say yes.
- Who can I ask to meet?
- Anyone in Davos for the week: a speaker, the host of a House or a side event, an expert, someone from a country or a sector you care about. We cannot promise a yes, and we do not approach people who have asked not to be contacted.
- What do you share about me?
- When we ask the other side, we share your name, your organisation and what you would like to talk about. Your email or phone number is shared only after they say yes.
- What happens if they say no?
- We tell you, and nothing more is shared on either side. If we can think of someone else who fits, we suggest them.
- When and where do we meet? Davos is packed.
- Wherever suits you both. In person in Davos is best, and a coffee, a breakfast or a walk often fits between sessions. If the week is full, meet after Davos or online: the introduction still stands.
- Can other people ask to meet me?
- Only if you tick 'open to be asked' on the form. Even then we ask you first, every time, and nothing about you is shown publicly.
- Is this a networking app?
- No app and no profiles. Meet in Davos is new, and for now a person handles every request. That keeps it professional and lets us say no when a request does not fit.
Not sure who to ask for yet?
- Davos Match: the side events that fit what you are in Davos for.
- Davos 2027 side events: who is hosting what, day by day.
- Smaller ways to meet: dinners, breakfasts and rooms that need no permit.
